Friday, March 24, 2006 Oregon Public can offer comments about standards for 49 air pollutants March 24, 2006 The public can comment until April 4 about new Oregon Department of Environmental Quality standards for 49 air pollutants. The pollutants are known or suspected to cause cancer or other health problems.The proposed benchmarks will provide health-based goals and the scientific basis for Oregon's air-toxics program.
